18th Sectoral Monitoring
Committe Meeting of IPA II and 7th Sectoral Monitoring Committe
Meeting of IPA III for Sectoral Operational Programme on Transport has been
held on 11th of May 2026 through online platforms. During the
meeting, stakeholders were informed about the activities of last 6 months that
were carried out in the transport sector within the context of IPA funds as
well as the targets of the next 6 months.
Meeting has been co-chaired by Mr. Adem KOÇ (Head of Department for EU
Investments, General Directorate for EU Affairs and Foreign Relations, MoTI)
and Mr. Christian BALLARO (Delegation
of the European Union to Türkiye Programme Manager).
Representatives
of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate of EU Affairs, relevant
departments of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, representatives of the Delegation
of the EU to Türkiye, representatives of the EU Commission, representatives of
other institutions, related departments of MoTI and CSO officials were
participated to the meeting.
At the meeting,
the progress made by our Ministry on the IPA II and IPA III Periods since the
last sectoral monitoring committee has been presented. In addition, Sectoral
Overview - Policy developments at sector level related to program
implementation, state of play in implementation, objectives and results,
visibility and communication were discussed.
