5th Progress Meeting on Construction of Cerkezkoy - Kapikule Section of Halkali - Kapikule Railway Line Project Realised
Fifth progress meeting on Construction of Çerkezköy - Kapıkule Section of Halkalı - Kapıkule Railway Line Project has been held with the participation of Contractor, Supervisor, our Ministry and our Directorate General of TCDD representatives on 19.12.2019 in Lüleburgaz site office under the leadership of Head of Department for European Union Investments, Mr. Nedim YEŞİL. Since 11 June 2019 that is the commencement date of the project, 4.85% physical progress has been achieved. In addition, as of 30 November 2019, a total of 1033 staff of the Contractor and 38 staff of the Engineer are employed in the project and a total of 270 machines are being used, including 36 excavators, 8 dozers, 17 loaders, 5 graders, 6 rollers, 185 trucks, 5 JCB and 8 cranes. Occupational health and safety is given the first priority in the project and up until now no fatalities has been realised.
