First Study Visit of the Strengthening Intermodal Services in Turkish Railway Sector Project Was Realized in Italy Between 1-5 May 2023

The first study visit of the Strengthening Intermodal Services in Turkish Railway Sector Project was held in Italy between 1-5 May 2023. The visit was attended by the Head of Department for EU Investments, Ms. Dr. Tijen İĞCİ and the Chief of the Contract Management Unit Ms. Burcu MAZLUM representing the Contracting Authority and the representatives from the End Beneficiary led by Ms. Dr. Demet CAVCAV, Head of Planning Unit of the Strategy Development Directorate. Within the scope of the said visit, the MoTI delegation visited Verona Quadrante Europa Intermodal Terminal, Trieste Port Authority, Trieste Port- Railway Infrastructure Directorate, Trieste Port-Ro-Ro Terminal and Venice Mestre Railway Infrastructure Authority-Traffic Control Center.
