The 2nd
Steering Committee Meeting within the scope of the “Strengthening the Transport
Operating Structure and End Recipient of Assistances in IPA II (2014-2020)
Period” project was held on February 4, 2021, to evaluate the future planning
and outcomes regarding the activities that have been started in the previous
quarter and will be carried out in the upcoming quarter. The meeting was chaired
by the Head of the Department, Mr Nedim Yeşil, with the participation of experts
from the Department of European Union Investments in the Ministry of Transport
and Infrastructure, the representatives of the Delegation of the European Union
to Turkey, the representatives of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Foreign
Affairs Directorate for Europen Union Affairs, Technical Assistance Team
experts and representatives of the Contractor.
Increasing the
administrative capacity of the Operating Structure staff and End Recipient of Assistances
for project and programme management, improving the performance of Multi Annual
Action Plan on Transport, strengthening the internal control framework of
Operating Structure and increasing the visibility of the programme to
stakeholders and general public are among the results of the technical assistance
project.
