A field visit has been made to Halkalı-Kapıkule Project (HAKA) with the participation of Department for European Union Investments, Delegation of the European Union to Turkey and representatives of TCDD on 18-20 September 2017.
Issues like expropriation needed to be done before the procurement, infrastructure and accordance works regarding the track were discussed at the meeting held during the field visit.
Opinions on the design speed of the track were expressed during the meeting and the connection of Asia to Europe feature was highlighted as the most important factor of the track.
