Transport Operational Program, 21st Sectoral Monitoring Committee Meeting was held on November 22, 2017 at Ankara Mövenpick Hotel by the Directorate of Foreign Affairs and European Union General Directorate of European Union Investments.
The meeting chaired by Mr. Nedim YEŞİL, Head of the European Union Investments Department and Mr. Argyrios PISIOTIS, Head of the Department of Regional Development of the European Union Commission; Head of the Delegation of the European Union, Mr. François BEGEOT's as well as our Ministry of relevant departments, European Commission officials, European Union Delegation to Turkey officials, Treasury, Ministry of European Union observer members with ministries such as the Ministry of Development has provided contributions.
In the meeting that started with the opening speeches of Mr. Nedim YEŞİL; By considering the appropriateness of the decisions of the 20th SMC meeting, progress was made regarding the items on the agenda. At the end of the IPA I program, the meeting emphasized the importance of successfully transferring the experiences gained during the IPA I period to the IPA II period; It continued with a presentation prepared by the Directorate of European Union Investments, which includes the status of the ongoing projects and other issues completed within the scope of the Transport Operational Program 2007-2013.
