Great Interest has been shown to TOP Photo Exhibitions

Transport Operational Programme (TOP) that is carried out by the Republic of Turkey and European Union, has been introduced to tens of thousands of people with the five photo exhibitions held in İstanbul Haydarpaşa, Sirkeci, Zonguldak, Karabük and Samsun. Exclusive films that were produced to promote big construction projects realised under TOP were screened via big screens during the photo exhibitions which drew great attention of the public. Promotional materials were distributed approximately to 2,200 people. Exhibitions appeared in the news for 231 times.

Photos relating to three big construction projects, in which more than 700 million EUR in total have been invested, were exhibited at the exhibitions. On this opportunity, artistic photos, focused on nature, human, and technology in relation to 378 kilometric Modernisation of Samsun-Kalın (Sivas) Railway Line Project, 415 kilometric Rehabilitation and Signalisation of Irmak-Karabük-Zonguldak Railway Line Project and Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Köseköy-Gebze Section of the Ankara-İstanbul High Speed Train Project met with the public.

The first of the exhibitions took place in the historical Haydarpaşa Train Station between the dates 07-09 July 2017. From the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs, and Communications, Erdem DİREKLER, Director General for Foreign Relations and EU Affairs Head of Operating Structure, from Delegation of the European Union to Turkey, François BEGEOT, Head of Section for Economic and Social Development, Counsellor, Head of Department for EU Investments Nedim YEŞİL, representatives of stakeholders, media members and public have attended to the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

Second of the TOP Photo Exhibitions took place in Sirkeci Train Station. Exhibition met with the İstanbul citizen at the entrance of Marmaray Station, where 60 thousand people use daily, between the dates 14-16 July.

TOP exhibitions continued to took place in Zonguldak, Karabük and Samsun. In these cities, media and public were informed of the projects.
