At an event held on Ordu Street on 22 September as part of European Mobility Week, eleven pilot projects developed under Phase II of Istanbul’s Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (Istanbul SUMP) were presented to Istanbul residents. Attended by representatives of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Jurgis Vilcinskas, Deputy Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, the event showcased initiatives for a safer, more accessible, inclusive and resilient transport future for Istanbul. The programme concluded with a walk from Ordu Street to Sultanahmet Square.
