As part of the development process of the IPA
III “Traffic and Driver Training Project”, developed under the Sectoral
Operational Programme for Transport (USOP) managed by the Ministry of
Transport and Infrastructure with the Ministry of National Education as its
beneficiary, the Traffic and Driver Training Workshop was held at the
Ankara Çankaya Borsa İstanbul Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School
Practice Hotel on 25 August 2026.
The workshop opened with speeches by Sinan
Bozdoğan, Head of Division at the General Directorate of Private Education
Institutions of the Ministry of National Education; Akif Türkel, Sector Manager
at the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye; and İbrahim Uzunmehmetoğlu,
Head of the Monitoring, Evaluation and R&D Department at the General
Directorate of Private Education Institutions of the Ministry of National
Education.
Within the programme, İsmail Hacıhasanoğlu, Head
of the Department of Traffic and Driver Training at the General Directorate of
Private Education Institutions of the Ministry of National Education, delivered
a presentation on the current state of traffic and driver training.
Participants then convened in working groups established to contribute to the
project-development process.
