The training on Collaboration with International Financial Institutions was conducted on December 27, 2023, in Ankara, with Mrs. Petek Kutucuoğlu as the instructor. The Head of Department for EU Investments Tijen İğci (PhD) and Department for EU Investments’ staff have participated in the training.
The main purpose of the training has been set as “to introduce participants to the IFI environment”. The full-day training covered basic concepts and presentations of investment examples. The training focused on the answers to the following questions:
- What is the mission and value proposition of
IFIs? How do they operate? Why are they important as a source of funding
and technical assistance?
- What are their strategic priorities, especially
in Türkiye and on infrastructure investments?
- How do they collaborate with governments,
financial institutions and the private sector?
- How do IFIs evaluate and support public and private investment projects?
The training was
successfully completed with the participants' questions.
