Co-financed with the EU under the Sectoral Operational Programme for
Transport (USOP) managed by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, under
Istanbul Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) Phase II – Implementation Plan
Project, the “Monitoring and Evaluation Workshop” was held on November 7, 2025,
with the participation of experts and representatives from relevant stakeholder
institutions.
The opening speech was delivered by Senior Expert Işıl Nadire Yener.
Presentations were made by Susanne Boehler-Baedeker, Monitoring and
Evaluation Expert from Rupprecht Consult, and Leventcan Er from the project
team.
The Monitoring and Evaluation Workshop session was facilitated by Ms.
Boehler-Baedeker, during which participants reviewed indicators, methodological
approaches, and the SUMP Dashboard developed under SUMP Stage II.
The event marked an important step toward strengthening the monitoring
capacity and sustainability of Istanbul’s urban transport system.
