Within the scope of the Strengthening the
Transport Operating Structure and ERAs in IPA II (2014-2020) Period Project, implemented
under the Sectoral Operational Programme for Transport (USOP) as part of the
Türkiye - EU financial cooperation managed by the Ministry of Transport and
Infrastructure, Trainings of Trainers were successfully completed on 14 November and 2
December 2024 with the participation the staff of the Department for EU
Investments.
Under the instruction of Mustafa Serkut
Kızanlıklı, during the full-day capacity-building programme, participants received
detailed information on training and implementation processes.
Initially, the competencies expected from a
successful trainer were emphasized, and ways to improve these competencies were
explained. The programme then discussed the formats and various tools that make
training effective and explained the methods of transforming it into a
participant-oriented structure.
The training programme was supported by various
group works and interactive sessions, which allowed the participants to combine
the theoretical knowledge they received with practice. Thus, maximum benefit
was obtained from the capacity-building training, and the programme was
successfully completed by reinforcing the newly learned information of the
participants with different skills.
