Tax Exemptions Training within the scope of
Strengthening the Transport Operating Structure and ERAs in IPA II (2014-2020)
Period Project, which was instructed by Harun Aşa, was held on 31 May 2023 in Ankara. A total of
11 participants from the Department for EU Investments took part in the
training.
The aim of the training was to increase the awareness of the staff on the tax exemptions granted for the EU funded projects and responsibilities of Contracting Authorities. During the training, the following topics were discussed:
- Introducing tax exemptions granted under
IPA II,
- How to apply for VAT Exemption
Certificate,
- How to benefit from tax exemptions,
- Implementation of income & corporate tax exemption for nonresident companies and individuals,
- Comparison of communiqués of IPA II &
IPA III.
