Our Deputy Minister Enver İskurt has Conducted Inspections of the Halkalı-Kapıkule Railway Line Project

Deputy Minister Enver İskurt visit to Kapıkule construction site within the framework Halkalı-Kapıkule Railway Line Project, implemented under the Sectoral Operational Programme for Transport (USOP) as part of the Türkiye-EU financial cooperation managed by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, was accompanied by TCDD Director Veysi Kurt and Head of Department for EU Investments Tijen İğci (PhD).

The head of TCDD Modernisation Department Gökhan Tacim gave a briefing to the Deputy Minister about Works’ physical and financial progress, the planning for 2025, problems and red flags concerning the two projects, namely “Construction of Cerkezkoy-Kapikule Section of Halkali-Kapikule Railway Line ( ÇE-KA)Project” and “Construction of Çerkezköy-Kapıkule Line Station Buildings, Kapıkule Station Expansion and Customs Area Renewal Works, EST and Security Systems Installation, Çorlu Stream Reclamation” which are executed under the Halkalı Kapıkule Railway Line Project.

Following the meeting, a site inspection for the ongoing construction activities was organized.
