Monitoring visit to the Construction of Cerkezkoy-Kapikule Section of Halkali-Kapikule Railway Line Project by the representatives of EU Delegation to Türkiye

A monitoring visit to the Construction of Cerkezkoy-Kapikule Section of Halkali-Kapikule Railway Line Project which is financed under the Sectoral Operational Programme (USOP) for Transport managed by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure was conducted by Green Development and Exclusive Growth Department’s acting head Virve Vimpari from EU Delegation to Türkiye and representatives of the Delegation on October 22^nd and 23^rd,2024.

The representatives of the European Union Delegation to Türkiye had meetings with the representatives of the Contracting Authority, End Recipient of Assistance (TCDD), Works Contractor and Engineer.

Following the inspections conducted along the project route on site, a briefing was given by the Contractor’s representative about the physical and financial progress of the Works, the planning for 2024-2025, the problems and red flags.
