“Public Transportation Gets Smarter in Denizli” Project 2nd Steering Committee Meeting was held on 22 August 2025.

Within the framework of Türkiye–EU financial cooperation, the 2nd Steering Committee Meeting of the project “Public Transportation Gets Smarter in Denizli”, implemented under the Sectoral Operational Programme for Transport with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure acting as the Contracting Authority, was successfully held in Denizli on 22 August 2025.

The meeting was attended by Cem Bağcı, Head of the Transportation Department of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, Akif Türkel, Programme Manager of the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, and Ahmet Dağdelen, Contract Manager of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, as well as ministry representatives, consortium partners, and project stakeholders.

During the Steering Committee meeting, the current progress of the project was evaluated and the outputs achieved to date were discussed in detail. In addition, the roadmap, strategic priorities, and measures to be implemented in the upcoming period were addressed. Participants emphasized the importance of the innovative solutions developed to make public transportation in Denizli smarter, more sustainable, and more accessible.
