A site visit was
held for the Intelligent Transport System Project of Denizli Metropolitan
Municipality which will be financed under 2nd Action Area of
Sectoral Operational Programme for Transport on 16-17 February 2022.
Mr. Nedim YEŞİL,
Head of Department for EU Investments and Mrs. Burcu ÖZCAN and Mr. Emre AKKAŞ
from Programming, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit participated to the visit as
representatives of Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
Mr. Nedim YEŞİL
and EUID staff visited Mr. Mustafa ÜNAL - Secretary General of Denizli
Metropolitan Municipality, Mr. Ömer Faruk ÖZER – Deputy Secretary General, Mr.
Mustafa GÖKOĞLAN - Director General for Denizli Transport Co. and Mr. Cem BAĞCI
– Head of Transport Department at their offices.
In addition, a
series of meetings were held with the staff of Transport Department.
Information was provided on the current status of existing intelligent
transport systems in Denizli. Also a work plan was agreed. Ministry staff
briefed the Municipality on the the programming and tendering processes.
