
The IPA Monitoring
Committee, which was convened under the co-chairmanship of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs, which is the National IPA Coordinator, the Directorate for EU
Affairs and the representative of the EU Commission, for effectiveness and
monitoring of the European Union (EU) Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance
(IPA) funds, was held on 7 February 2025 as a hybrid meeting with the
participation of the representatives of the relevant institutions.
In the meeting
opened by Osman Çelik, Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance, developments regarding
the implementation of the IPA II (2014-2020) period were discussed along with
the annual and multi-annual programming efforts for the IPA-III period.
Additionally, the management and monitoring processes aimed at ensuring the
effective and efficient use of financial assistance were exchanged. The
Ministry was represented by Tijen İğci (PhD), Head of Department for EU Investments,
and her team.
