DoTMC RC brought Transport and Communication Sectors’ stakeholders together in the Closure Workshop after Sector Workshops

The workshops held in Ankara brought together our Departments of Ministry, relevant public representatives, academics, and civil society representatives having in depth expertise in related fields.

The workshops, hosted by the Directorate of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Research Center, were held in 5 sectors, namely Communication and Satellite Technologies, Maritime, Aviation, Railway, and Road. In these workshops, the participants representing different institutions found opportunities to exchange ideas on research and development topics through focus groups, and the participants provided their suggestions in each sector.

The outputs of five workshops aiming to identify research and technology development topics were shared with the participants at the Closure Workshop which was held on July 2, 2021. Questions, suggestions and comments from the participants were evaluated in this Closure Workshop. Six workshops held in a short period of 2 weeks were successfully completed.
