An online introductory meeting was held with the experts of Zero Emission Vehicles Transition Council, based in Washington

The meeting held on 15 March 2024 was attended by the, Head of Department for EU Investments Mrs. Tijen İğci (PhD), Head of International Policies Department Mr. Mustafa İmamoğlu from Directorate General for EU Affairs and Foreign Relations, Mr Tim Dallmann, experts Mr. Gaurav Dubey and Mr. Alexander Tankou from the ZEVTC, WRI Global Mobility Director Ms. Cristiana Albuquerque and Road Safety expert Mr. Tolga İmamoğlu, as well as experts from our Ministry.

During the meeting a detailed presentation was made by the Zero Emission Vehicles Transition Council on the structure and functioning of the Council and the support mechanisms that can be provided for the transition to zero emission vehicles.

The question and answer session commenced after the presentation. In the following steps, it was determined to carry out studies by incorporating additional stakeholders who might be engaged in the process of transition to zero emission vehicles, in collaboration with experts from WRI Türkiye.
