3rd Halkalı-Kapıkule Railway
Line Monitoring Board Meeting was held on 28th of January 2022
through online platforms due to the COVID-19 conditions.
At the meeting, the participants were informed
about the implementation process of the Halkalı-Kapıkule Railway Line Project
since the previous Monitoring Board Meeting.
The meeting was co-chaired by Mr. Burak
AYKAN (Head of Operating Structure, Director General for EU & Foreign
Affairs, MoTI) and Mr. Bernard BRUNET (Head of Unit for Turkey, DG NEAR,
European Commission)
Delegation of the European Union to Turkey
Head of Cooperation; Mr. Andre Etienne LYS, representatives of Delegation of
the EU to Turkey, representatives of EU Commission, Director General of
Infrastructure Investments; Mr. Yalçın EYİGÜN, Deputy Director General of TCDD;
Mr. Turgay GÖKDEMİR, representative of DG II and TCDD, and the representatives
of European Bank of Reconstruction and Development as observer participated to
the meeting.
