After the 16 th Sectoral Monitoring Committee meeting held in Ankara, site visits related to ‘Rehabilitation and Signalization of Irmak-Karabük-Zonguldak Railway Line Project’ ‘Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Köseköy-Gebze section of Ankara-İstanbul High Speed Train Railway Project’ were realized.
Completed and ongoing works related to the two projects were examined during the site visits of the technical Delegation headed by Mr. Nedim Yeşil, Head of EU Investments Department.
Technical Delegation composed of the experts working at EU Investments Department, European Commision, Delegation of the European Union to Turkey and Turkish State Railways. They first examined the ongoing works in Irmak-Karabük-Zonguldak Railway Project then they monitored the current situation of Köseköy-Gebze Railway Line. During these site visits. Engineers and Contractors informed the Delegation regarding the progress of the projects.
Transport Operational Programme which is executed under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications is co-financed by the Republic of Turkey and the European Union.
