Scope of the Work
The project is a natural continuation of the
Istanbul SUMP Stage I activity, which forms the basis for the implementation of
a wide range of sustainable urban mobility solutions in Istanbul and aims to
achieve the main SUMP objectives. It aims to provide technical assistance by contributing
to livability and sustainability in the city by providing safe, clean,
accessible and affordable transportation to Istanbul. It includes analyzing the
current mobility and transportation situation, developing an activity-based
transportation model, detailing the policies and actions to be implemented, and
preparing a project pipeline for SUMP, in line with, but not limited to, the
Istanbul SUMP Stage I project study.
