The Project Steering Committee, which
monitors the progress of the Trabzon Sustainable Urban Transport Plan Project,
which started in June 2023 implemented under the Sectoral Operational
Programme for Transport (USOP) as part of the Türkiye-EU financial cooperation
managed by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, met for the fourth time on 30 July 2024 at Trabzon Metropolitan
Municipality’s premises.
The meeting was hosted by Gürkan Üçüncü,
Secretary General of Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, with the participation
of Tijen İğci (PhD), Head of Department for EU Investments, Adem Koç, Contract
Manager, İsmail Abacı, Chief of Financial Management Unit, Alper Kaya,
Publicity and Visibility Officer and Quality, Assurance and Control Expert
Ahmet Şenol Koyuncu on behalf of the Contracting Authority.
Information on the progress of the project,
including completed and ongoing works, was presented by Yücel Erdem Dişli on
behalf of the Project Local Coordinator of the contractor TYPSA & Boğaziçi
Proje & KAISER Engineering consortium.
