Meaningful Contribution to the November 11 National Afforestation Day, on Behalf of Those Who Participated in the USOP's Poll

USOP's social media followers pulled the trigger on the "Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan", whose English abbreviation is SUMP. Those who participated proposed their comments and suggestions in the online survey organized via Social Media. After these comments and suggestions were evaluated, the Turkish abbreviation of SUMP was determined as SKUp. It was decided to plant saplings for our followers who shared their valuable opinions in our survey and the planting of saplings coincided with a very meaningful day. November 11 National Afforestation Day, which is planned to be celebrated every year and will be supported by awareness activities, was celebrated with sapling planting activities all over the country for the first time ever. Hundreds of thousands of saplings were planted with the participation of citizens in 81 cities across Türkiye at 11.11 am on 11 November. USOP participated in this meaningful event with the planting of 582 saplings.

Under the scope of the National Afforestation Day event, the USOP’s saplings were planted in the afforestation area of ​​Ankara Batıkent Susuz Site. Thank you to all our followers, who participated in the survey!
