“The Financial Cooperation Coordination Board” Meeting, which is the highest-level coordination platform regarding
the financial cooperation structuring of the Instrument for Pre-Accession
Assistance has been realised on 14th of January 2021, by video
conferencing method due to COVID-19 conditions.
The meeting in Turkey -
coordination of EU financial cooperation process, the scope of monitoring and
evaluation of EU funds provided effective, it was carried out in order to take
decisions to ensure the proper and timely goals. The meeting was held with the
participation of Deputy Ministers and the relevant hierarchies of the relevant
Ministries and Institutions, under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of
Foreign Affairs and the Director for European Union Ambassador Faruk KAYMAKÇI.

Foreign Relations Mr. Erdem DİREKLER and Head of Department for European Union
Investments, Mr. Nedim YEŞİL participated to the meeting.
At the meeting, the current state of play
of in Turkey-EU Financial Cooperation and about the programming processes
regarding the third term (IPA-III) of the Pre-Accession Assistance Tool,
covering the years 2021-2027 was discussed in details and participants were
informed about the activities carried out in the transport sector with the IPA
and the targets of the future. In addition, it was stated that the high
performance of our Ministry in the IPA II period implementation process and the
point it has reached in the IPA III period programming studies were
appreciated.
