Monitoring Meeting on Construction of Cerkezkoy-Kapikule Section of Halkali-Kapikule Railway Line Project Realised

The Monitoring Meeting has been realized in Lüleburgaz Site Office, under the leadership of the Director General of Directorate General for European Union Affairs and Foreign Relations and Head of Operating Structure, Mr. Erdem Direkler. Head of Department for EU Investments Mr. Nedim Yeşil, From Directorate General for Turkish State Railways, the Deputy General Manager Mr. İsmail Çağlar, Head of Department of Railway Modernization Department Mr. Hasan Pezük, İstanbul Regional Manager Mr. Necmettin Acar, Vice Head of Railway Modernization Department Mr. Mücahid Lek, TCDD Site Control Organization, authorized representatives of Works Contractor SALINI-KOLİN and the Engineer TPF-EPTISA Consortium have been attended to the meeting. 

Information on construction works progress, on-going and planned works have been shared by the Contractor. Engineer has carried out a presentation on site mobilization, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental issues and project’s publicity and visibility activities, as well. In the meeting, the points regarding the design works, excavation and filling works, information on current status of engineer structures whose construction are on-going, city crossings, and issues that are carried out in coordination with other public institutions and organizations have been discussed.
