Progress Meeting for the Construction of Cerkezkoy-Kapikule Section of Halkali-Kapikule Railway Line Project Realised

The project progress meeting was held online under the chairmanship of Tijen İğci İĞCİ (PhD), Head of the Department for European Union Investments. Turgay GÖKDEMİR, Deputy Director General, Selim BOLAT, Head of Modernisation Department, TCDD Site Control Organisation personnel and representatives of the Contractor and the Supervisor companies were present at the meeting.

Prior to the Progress Meeting, the Ministry and TCDD officials received a preliminary briefing from the representatives of the Consultant. During the meeting, a presentation covering the general physical and financial progress of the project, as well as occupational health and safety, environmental issues and public relations has been given by the Contractor. Moreover, remaining design works, on-going infrastructure and superstructure works, city crossings, and issues that are carried out in coordination with other public institutions and organizations have been discussed.
