Progress Meeting for the Construction of Cerkezkoy-Kapikule Section of Halkali-Kapikule Railway Line Project Realised

Within the sope of the“Construction of Cerkezkoy-Kapikule Section of Halkali-Kapikule Railway Line Project”, financed under the Sectoral Operational Programme for Transport within the scope of Türkiye-EU financial cooperation, representatives of the TCDD General Directorate, TCDD Site Control Organization, the Engineer and the Contractor were present during the project progress meeting and site inspection visit led by Head of Department for EU Investments Tijen İğci (PhD), Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Dg for EU Affairs and Foreign Relations. Engineer representatives gave a pre-briefing to the Employer and TCDD officials prior to the meeting. 

A presentation covering the general physical and financial progress of the project, as well as occupational health and safety, environmental issues and community relations has been given by the Contractor, during the progress meeting. Moreover, the points regarding the remaining design works, on-going infrastructure and superstructure works, city crossings, and issues that are carried out in coordination with other public institutions and organizations have been discussed.
