2nd Coordination Meeting Was Held Between DG EU and Foreign Relations and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate of EU Affairs on 8 December 2022
2nd coordination meeting was
held on 8 December 2022 between the delegation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Directorate of EU Affairs and the Ministry delegation led by Mr. Burak AYKAN, Director General for EU and
Foreign Affairs on the contemporary issues on studies being carried out with EU
on transport sector.
In the meeting,
the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure was represented by Mr. Burak
AYKAN- Director General for EU Affairs and Foreign Relations, Mrs.Tijen İĞCİ (PhD)-Head
of Department for EU Investments, Mr. Mustafa İMAMOĞLU-Head of Department for
International Policies, EU Expert Mrs. Burcu ÖZCAN and Maritime Expert Mrs. Sevtap
ÖZDOĞAN, whereas Mrs. Elif KURŞUNLU-Director General for European Union
Relations, Mr. Bülent ÖZCAN-Director General for Financial Cooperation and
Project Implementation, Deputy Director General Mr. Murat ŞEN, Head of
Departments Mrs. Burcu ALTINORDU and Mrs. Cemre GÜZEL and EU Affairs Expert Mr.
Ahmet Emre ÜNGÖR participated on behalf of Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Directorate of EU Affairs.
Outstanding
issues such as the visit of the delegation of Ministry of Transport and
Infrastructure led by Mr. Burak AYKAN to Brussels between 3-4 November 2022,
IATA Wings of Change Event, recent developments as to the implementation of
USOP and the 2022 Türkiye Report were discussed during this fruitful meeting.
