A meeting was
held on 14 March 2023 at the Ministry premises between AFD Türkiye Director
Tanguy Danieul and his team and the Ministry delegation led by Mr. Burak AYKAN,
Director General for EU Affairs and Foreign Relation and Head of Operating
Structure
In the meeting,
the Ministry was represented by Mr. Burak AYKAN- Director General for EU Affairs
and Foreign Relations, Tijen İĞCİ (PhD)-Head of Department for EU Investments
and EU Expert Mrs. Burcu ÖZCAN, whereas, Mr. Tanguy Danieul- AFD Türkiye
Director, Ms. Suzanne Spooner- Project Task Leader in Mobility Division, Ms.
Yonca Moralı-Senior Project Manager and Mr. Doğan Şalva-Senior Project Manager participated
on behalf of AFD.
During this fruitful meeting, the current developments in the ongoing IPA-III cooperation through SUMART project were discussed. In addition, AFD activities in the disaster region after Kahramanmaraş Earthquakes and the possible collaboration in the region were also addressed.
