First Meeting of the Project Steering Committee for “Düzce Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP)” Was Held
The 1st
Steering Committee Meeting of Düzce Sustainable Urban Transport Plan Project,
which is financed under the Transport Sectoral Operational Programme within the
scope of Türkiye-EU financial cooperation, and of which Düzce Municipality is
the End Beneficiary, was held on 8 January 2024 in Düzce.
The meeting was
chaired by Mr. Kalender AYDIN, Director of Zoning and Urbanisation of Düzce Municipality
and attended by Mrs. Tijen İĞCİ (PhD), Ministry of Transport and
Infrastructure- Directorate General for EU Affairs and Foreign Relations-Head
of Department for European Union Investments, as well as the representatives
from the Contracting Authority, Düzce Municipality, Contractor and Project Key
Experts.
A presentation about
the current status of the Project was delivered by the Key Expert Mr. Patrick
van EGMOND and the topics of Inception Report, Opening Ceremony, financial issues
and visibility approval processes were discussed.
