Representatives of the European Commission Directorate General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) Paid a Visit to the Ministry During Their Supervision Mission in Türkiye

Representatives of the European Commission Directorate General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) organized a supervision mission on 23-27 October 2023 in order to inspect activities such as programming, monitoring, implementation, internal procedures, relations with stakeholders carried out by the EU Delegation to Türkiye. In this context, a meeting was held at the Ministry premises on October 27, 2023, in order to exchange views to implement the SOPT more effectively and efficiently and to solve the current problems.

The meeting was co-chaired by Mr. Burak Aykan, Head of Transport Operating Structure and Director General of EU Affairs and Foreign Relations, and Odoardo Como, Head of Cooperation of the EU Delegation to Türkiye. The Head of the Department of European Union Investments, Mrs. Dr. Tijen İğci, chiefs of units of the Department and officials from the European Union Delegation to Türkiye also attended the meeting.
