The Department for European Union Investments successfully held its fourth Annual Performance Assessment Workshop (PAWS) in Düzce between 31 October to 3 November 2024. The objectives of the workshop, which was organised with the participation of all the EUID staff, included discussing the closure of the IPA II period, assessing and negotiating de-commitment risks, and organising a series of soft skills and team building workshops.
The first day of the workshop started with an opening speech by the Head of Department for European Union Investments, Tijen İğci (PhD) and then she continued with a session on the closure of IPA II. In the first session, de-commitment risks were presented by Financial Management Unit and ways to mitigate them were discussed. On the second day, open-air workshops focusing on soft skills and team building were organised and led by human resources management experts.
On the last day, an
overall evaluation of all sessions took place, and the participants discussed
and confirmed the results of the presentations and discussions. The workshop
provided a fruitful knowledge and experience sharing platform, allowing the EUID
staff to be prepared for the upcoming period.
