Scope of the Work
Düzce Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan is a strategic
plan to meet the mobility needs of citizens and the business environment in
order to provide a better quality of life. Düzce SUMP will provide a useful
tool for addressing urban transport issues as well as achieving local and
higher-level environmental, social, and economic goals. Düzce SUMP will focus
on people and how to meet their basic mobility needs in a sustainable way. Besides,
it is also needed to include all modes (public, private, passenger, freight,
etc.) and forms (motorized and non-motorized) of transport. In addition, it
will be constantly monitored as a dynamic plan and updated with common sense to
convert current mobility trends into sustainable trends.
